Moving!

It’s been such a long time since I’ve written, but we’ve had some things in the works that couldn’t be public yet, but now they can. (That and I stink at being consistent at anything and Princess Olive has quit taking naps AND… I could go on, but I won’t.)
Well the big news is we’re moving! We’ll finally get to move close to family. John’s last day a week from Wednesday and Cindy’s going to fly down two weeks from tomorrow to help us drive up after the movers come and pack us up and take our stuff away!
Can you tell I’m excited?? But I’m also very sad. You see… these past 5 1/2 years that we’ve lived in this area we’ve built a home and a family. This has been the beginnings of our family. This city is where our two girls were born, where we found a church that we love so dearly and call family, these are our roots. God has grown us so much here, and I will miss it.
But when I get sad I remember how sad I am every time we leave after we visit family. Our princesses will be able to play with their cousin and spend the day with their grandparents. They’ll be able to have that close extended family that both of us had growing up, where the words cousin, sister and brother are often very close in meaning.
I’m just a mess of emotion and then I’ve got to remember that I’ve got to stop thinking about all of this too much because there is far too much to do to get ready! So with that I’m off. Those of you who live close by, we will miss you so much, for those of you who we’ve been missing for so long… it won’t be much longer!
We are going to miss you guys. I know you will be so happy though in your new place. We are excited for your family and this new chapter in your lives. Keep us posted on how things are going and keep up the blog we love reading it.
