I think I'd love to be able to take a picture of each room of my house and have the pictures be something I'm proud of. I'd have to do a lot of work before I took the pictures. But you have given me a bit of motivation, so thanks!

"2008 Goals" by Melissa (Hazeleyessue)

Hi Maggie!
Kimm left me a message on my blog about you, so I decided to check out your blog. How old is your baby? My little boy is just over 10 weeks old. He was born on November 7th. Kimm said you had your baby about the same time. I am trying to loose 40 lbs too! I'm going to check out babyfit.com and see how that can help me! Stop by my blog anytime. I hope you are able to comment next time (Kimm said that wasn't working). One question though: are you finding time to exercise on a regular basis, and if so, how?1?

Hey Maggie,
Molly Maids are my best friends. If you have a smaller sized house, it may not be super duper expensive, but I find that I am way more than willing to sacrifice and cut corners financially, in order to never do deep cleaning.

Before we started using Molly Maids, I used to do like Steph said, clean bathrooms while kids are in the bath, clean kitchen and dining room when kids are eating, clean kids rooms while they are getting up or going down for the night, clean sink everytime I brush my teeth, etc. Then finish everything else up after kids are in bed (if I had the energy, if not, then it would just have to wait until morning)

As far as Christmas music goes, I think my all time favorite Christmas albums are the Happy Christmas cds from BEC Recordings. But then I may be partial, because Josh's old band has songs on each of them. But they are compilations with each band doing a different song. Lots of fun!

I don't do it all in one day, although I'd love to have it all done at one time. It just doesn't work with our schedule, and my kiddos. So, I fit it in as I go. For instance, sometimes I'll clean bathrooms while the boys are in the bath. The kitchen gets cleaned up daily, but the heavier cleaning like mopping doesn't get done as often as it should. At this point in our lives, we go for sanitary and picked up. The boys can help put laundry away, and carry it to the garage for me so that's a big help. I usually do wash on Mondays and Fridays. Hope that helps. It's what works for us right now.

I have decided to join you. Things with Alton are going well and I am finally able to get stuff done while he sits and plays with his toys. It is time for a routine!

I have no routine. I do like the idea of doing it all on Friday though. Perhaps next week.

As for Christmas music, we just got the Third Day Christmas CD and it is really good. I want to get the Jars of Clay one next... We can bring our Christmas music when we come.
